Impact of Practice: In the beginning of each academic session, the number of UG & PG students who take certificate course in computer application is nearly 2000. The students complete the course and they are awarded certificate in computer application. On the basis of this certificate nearly 20-40 % students get job in various sectors such as Offices, School/ College and Commercial organizations.

Foundation Considering the commendable work done by the KNMT and its dedication in the field of education, social & economic welfare and development of farming community and rural people, ICAR granted the scheme of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in 1976 for implementation in sultanpur under the aegis of Kamla Nehru Memorial Trust This is one of the first five KVKs of the county and the first in Uattar Pradesh .
Programs · Vocational and skill-oriented training for farmers, farmwomen and rural youth in agriculture and allied vocations so that they could adopt new methods to farming with increased farm income.
· Conducting ‘ On-Campus and ‘Off-Campus’. training programs. · Duration of the ‘off campus’ training programs varies from 2 days to 15 days and ‘on campus’ courses are organized for one month to six months. · Organizing in service training courses to update the extension personnel within the area of operation with emerging technologies in agricultural and allied subjects. · Organizing ‘on farm trial ‘ for technology assessment and refinement on the farmers fields. · Front line demonstration on various crops. · Other extension activities, such as field days, farmers fair, kisan-gosthies, clinical camps, publication of magazine, radio talk, nutrition camp. Organizing Self-Help groups, soil-testing etc.

Instructional Farms for Training and Demonstration
KVK Sultanpur has uniqueness of having large scale demonstration units covering crop production, horticulture agro forestry and fisheries program through development and reclamation of waste land in the form of sodic soil, ravines, water logged areas, and eroded lands. As per details given below:
Besides the aforesaid infrastructure the KVK has got 2 Tractors, 2 vehicle, 12 Tube wells and various farm machines, tools and equipment necessary for training based on work experience.
